So you may have seen a new addition to the layout type when filling in the generator. That’s right, Hexagons will be soon making their way to the generator!
There will be a few requirements for hexagons to work though:
- Images MUST be cropped to just the texture, same as with the other layouts
- The background must be transparent and saved as a .PNG
- Textures must be oriented with the flat edge at the top and bottom
A good tool for cropping and removing the background, is removebg. I’m not affiliated, but have used them and know them to be a powerful and useful tool.
Once I’ve programmed it in, and tested it to check it works, I’ll release it to be used by everyone.
